Thank you considering volunteering with UGSA! The success of UGSA depends on our coaches, managers and other volunteers.
Whether it is Coaching or Managing a team, voting and voicing an opinion as a Board Member, serving on one of the numerous committees, or simply running the scoreboard during a game, WE GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP.

We ask you please consider helping out in any capacity, even if you are not an expert in softball.

We will contact you to confirm receipt and to get additional information if needed.

Please be aware, for the safety of the children and the organization, background checks will be required.
Due to the number of teams, it is not guaranteed that all requests to Manage, Coach or volunteer in another capacity will be granted.
If you are selected to manage or coach a team, you are also a member of the Ethics Committee and may be called upon to investigate league issues as needed.
Once you have been accepted to coach/manage a team, you will have to go through a Youth Sports background check.
UGSA will cover $5 of the $10 background check fee.
