UGSA is currently exploring the feasibility of introducing competitive teams across various age categories, namely 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U.

It's important to emphasize that these competitive teams will be an additional offering alongside our regular UGSA Recreational Team. To be eligible for participation in a UGSA Competitive Team, players must also be part of the Recreational Team.

The formation of these Competitive Teams is contingent upon player interest and the availability of coaches. Should a substantial number of girls express interest, we may conduct tryouts. There will be an extra cost estimated at approximately $150-$180, which will cover expenses for three weekend tournaments and team jerseys.

Practices for the Competitive Teams are scheduled for Sunday afternoons/evenings, while the specific tournament locations and dates in the St. Louis area will be determined later.

If you believe your daughter is enthusiastic about joining a Competitive Team, kindly notify us, and we will provide you with further details. The decision to proceed with these teams will hinge on the level of interest expressed in each age group. No payments will be required until the teams are officially established.
